I’d suggest you try it while you’re still in warranty. My second fob for my 2021 doesn’t work. I don’t know if it ever did. BUT…I never checked it until well after my warranty was long gone.

FOB/Smart key battery going bad?

 

Unlikely, since it is only 2 months old, but I will star using the other one for a time being, will see if the problem goes away

 

I've used the other fob for 2 days now. no error so far, but it wasn't so hot last few days either, so who knows ...

 

Unfortunately the problem persists no matter which fob i am using ...

Maybe a simple software update through the OBD port, worst case your engine immobilizer is bricked, if's it not under warranty get ready to cry.

 

My 25 would throw that fault during the first couple of months. It has not displayed this error again in the last 6 months and 20,000 miles.
